I would really like to understand the logic of spending months making one of these models, and then only putting the download links up for a short time. One of the one pages has a contact link, so maybe I'll try emailing him. I tried every page I could find for every model on the site, but those were the only ones I could get. I wanted to get Robby the Robot and the 2001 Spacepod & Moon Bus, but the WBM didn't have copies with download links. I still need to grab the instruction pages for each model. I almost had The Time Machine, but one of the files was offline. Valley Forge (Silent Running, no longer listed on current site) Heart of Gold (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) Seven Skeletal Warriors (this one is still online) Space Station V (Simple Edition, 2001: A Space Odyssey) I now have the following models from that page I had an idea and used the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine to try and access past versions of the pages. Sith-Smasher wrote:I don't understand Japanese but this might help you somewhat: These models were originally available to download free of charge, some of the people on the forum managed to download them, but when anyone else dares to ask for a copy of them, it's "NO! You can't have them! The creator took the link down, so nobody must ever have a copy again!!!" Typically, the people who reply to such requests act like the poster was asking for instructions on how to rob a bank.

I tried searching for some of the models elsewhere on the net, but all I found were forums with messages from others who were also looking for some place to download them. I don't understand this attitude at all and I can't find anything on the translated website that explains why this is, nor can I find any contact information so that I can ask him directly. Then he takes the download links offline and apparently nobody is ever allowed to download them again. Well, you can, but only the latest one and only for a very limited time. Of course you can't actually download any of them. They are extremely detailed and look fantastic. I have stumbled across a the web site of a Japanese model maker who makes incredible paper models. I haven't made many of them, but I like to collect them. I occasionally download printable, paper models. The reason I ask is that I would like help understanding something.
